The RCP Charter Cycle arrives in the West Midlands on 19–20 October 2017, when physicians in the region will be able to sign the RCP500 Charter.
RCP registrar Dr Andrew Goddard will be riding with the charter to two local hospitals and the RCP's regional update in Birmingham. You will be able to add your name to the charter at these times:
- Thursday 19 October, from 12pm: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Medical Education Centre, foyer area outside lecture theatre 3, first floor)
- Friday 20 October, 8.30–9.30am: University Hospital Coventry (clinical sciences building, reception area)
- Friday 20 October, from 12pm: RCP Update In Medicine, Birmingham Conference and Events Centre, Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre (Mercian suite).
The RCP Charter Cycle is a 2,018-mile journey between NHS trusts in celebration of our 500-year anniversary in September 2018. As well as bringing the RCP500 Charter to our members and fellows, Dr Goddard is cycling in support of Physicians for Africa.
If you would like to cycle with Dr Goddard at any point during his journey, please register your details to stay updated about the route the ride is taking.
