All six health boards in Wales with an acute medical intake are now registered with the Improving Quality in Liver Services (IQILS) project, the UK national accreditation scheme for liver services.
Dr James Ferguson, consultant hepatologist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, has been appointed as clinical lead at the RCP's Improving Quality in Liver Services accreditation scheme.
The RCP's Health Informatics Unit is currently hosting a consultation to seek views from parents and carers, health and care professionals and industry on the content of a new set of standards for a digital health records for children.
