Minimum unit pricing (MUP) for alcohol comes into force today across Wales. It is designed to reduce the availability of very cheap, strong alcohol. Those in most need of help for alcohol problems are more likely to buy this very cheap alcohol and MUP aims to reduce the harm to this group.
