Voting is open for the 2017 RCP elections

After receiving a record number of candidate nominations, the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) invites its fellows to vote in the 2017 RCP elections. This is your opportunity to shape the future of your college, so make your voice count.

RCP fellows can vote for candidates nominated for the following roles:

  • senior censor and vice president for education and training (a single combined office)
  • four members of Council to serve between August 2017 and July 2020.

The candidate statements and declarations of interest are available to read on the RCP's new online voting platform, and fellows will also receive a voting pack in the post which includes the candidate statements for both roles.

Voting closes at 12pm on Thursday 15 June 2017 and the results will be declared on 19 July 2017.

It is increasingly important that fellows take part in our elections ... We want to represent you all.

Professor Jane Dacre, RCP president

How to vote

For the first time, RCP fellows are now able to vote online – making the process quicker, easier and more environmentally friendly. To cast your vote, please visit the online voting platform and enter the two-part security code printed on the ballot paper that you receive in the post.

By post

Fellows will receive a voting pack in the post, which includes:

  • candidate statements
  • your ballot paper
  • pre-paid return envelope.

Please ensure that you post your ballot paper in the pre-paid envelope in enough time for it to arrive before 12pm on 15 June 2017.
