RCP Global has announced that Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director general of the World Health Organization, will provide a video message to accompany the opening remarks of former RCP president Professor Dame Jane Dacre at the Global Health Horizons conference on 3 December 2018.
In the address, Dr Adhanom will discuss the new emerging global health challenges and reflect on the importance of achieving the sustainable development goals to the health of the world’s population. He will also acknowledge the importance of supporting the global health workforce and the challenges we face in achieving universal health coverage.
