Vacancies for two RCP censors

Applications are invited from fellows who are interested in education, or feel that they can draw on any particular experience or specific interest in more general matters relating to the provision of healthcare.

This may include policy, service delivery, aspects of education, or any other field that would provide a source of assistance or support for senior RCP officers. The two censors appointed will take up office from 1 August 2017 and serve to 31 July 2020.

RCP censors

The office of censor is a senior one, going back to the origins of the RCP. At any time there are six (as well as the education and training vice president, who is also known as the senior censor), and their role has always been concerned with the MRCP and thus education. There will be two vacancies in 2017 and applications are invited from fellows who are interested in education, or feel that they can draw on any particular experience or specific interest in more general matters relating to the provision of healthcare.
