The National COPD Audit Programme has embedded quality improvement (QI) into its work. This page will hold all the QI resources produced by the audit programme, along with links to resources elsewhere.

By bringing together both patients and doctors, the RCP aims to provide support and practical guidance to doctors to help improve and embed person-centred care.

The Asthma Audit Development Project informed the specification of a national asthma audit to cover England and Wales, established what audit approach should be adopted and carried out some of the foundation work required.

The 'second conversation', led by a junior doctor, gives patients, carers and family members the time and space to reflect on significant news and ask questions.

Royal College of Physicians Quality Improvement (RCPQI) aims to bring together existing quality improvement work within the RCP, as well as developing new infrastructure and approaches, to support and promote a continuously improving healthcare system.
