What we are doing
The RCP has undertaken a number of activities to improve continence care in the UK.
- The National Audit of Continence Care tested the feasibility of auditing continence care in hospital settings, in the community and in care homes; it also examined new audit technology. The patient experience pilot audit report - Capturing patients' experience of NHS continence services, is also available to download.
- The All Party Parliamentary Group for Continence Care's 2011 report Cost-Effective Commissioning for Continence Care is available to download.
- Privacy and dignity in continence care comprises two reports resulting from a two-year project.
