Structured Judgement Review (SJR) training courses in Scotland

Produced by:

The National Mortality Case Record Review (NMCRR) Programme team offers Structured Judgement Review (SJR) training for colleagues in Scotland.

Course details

Attendees will be trained on how to conduct mortality reviews using our SJR methodology and tool, be informed of the background of the programme and how to make explicit judgements, and be given case studies to test skills and the chance to ask any questions about the programme. This session will also train attendees to become tier one trainers with the ability to cascade training to colleagues wanting to become reviewers.

There will be an expectation that as a tier one trainer your contact details will be made available to other hospitals who may contact you to deliver training sessions in your region. You will receive support from the NMCRR core programme team to deliver any training sessions and you will not be expected to deliver training alone. The number of training sessions that you deliver will be your decision.
