A new audit on the provision of care for people dying in hospitals has found significant variations in care across hospitals in England.

The findings of the National Audit of Continence Care have been published today by the Royal College of Physicians.

It is estimated that there are 70,000 hip fractures a year in the UK[i] and this is only set to increase as the population gets older.
