RCP Educator accreditation

This a flexible accreditation that offers formal training on how to teach doctors effectively in a range of settings. It is suited to doctors at any stage of their career who are interested in developing their own educational practice.

The accreditation is usually completed within 2 years and requires delegates to attend, at their own convenience, the following four programmes:

Workshops can be attended in any order, although we recommend starting your accreditation with either Effective teaching skills, On-the-job teaching or Workplace-based assessment prior to starting the Peer support network. We advise delegates to book the Peer support network well in advance, as it does become fully booked very quickly.

I’ve found this entire teaching course and accreditation incredibly useful and accessible. [I] really feel it has changed my practice with evaluation and developing programmes of education.
