How we can help

Access difficulties

If you experience any problems accessing our e-resources please contact the library – library@rcplondon.ac.uk – specifying the name of the resource and any error messages you receive.

For problems with ejournals please provide the following information:

  • journal title
  • publisher
  • issue number
  • year.

Please note that ejournals can be accessed more easily via the A-Z list, available after you log in, than via a publisher’s website.

Screenshots may help us resolve the problem faster.

Database search training and tips

You can send us your search strategy to receive tips on how to refine it for better results. Individual training sessions can also be arranged.

Free literature searches

We can perform an expert search for you and give you the resulting references and abstracts. Members may place up to three requests per year; we search one database per request. There is a standard turnaround time of 2–3 weeks. To request this service please complete a literature search request form and email it to the library.
