The Mersey region evening teach-in programme aims to provide an update on advances in clinical practice for doctors in training, consultant physicians, GPs and staff grade doctors wishing to continue their medical education.
This teach-in will cover both topical and important infectious diseases of relevance to many physicians and generalists, including Zika and viral hepatitis. It is suitable for trainee and consultant physicians, as well as generalists.
This teach-in will provide an update on the diagnosis and management of heart failure, with an emphasis on current guidelines which are relevant for trainees, general practitioners and consultant physicians.
This teach-in on respiratory medicibe will focus on four areas where recent research (in basic science, as well as clinical trials and epidemiology) has led to changes in clinical practice and improved patient outcome.
