The final results for the Stroke Improvement National Audit Programme (SINAP) are for patients admitted between October to December 2012. The report presents audit findings based on 10,069 stroke records and include key indicators of care provided. Individual hospital results, compared with national level results, are also available and include details of non-participating hospitals.
The combined report shows national and hospital level results across seven quarters from April 2011 to December 2012. It also presents performance against important aspects of acute stroke care including 12 key stroke indicators, which were selected by the Intercollegiate Stroke Working Party (ICSWP) following analysis of the first year’s data and are considered to be representative of the first 72 hours of care.
