Teaching toolkit: an introduction to healthcare sustainability

Green Physicians Toolkit Banner 1440X760px

This teaching toolkit, ‘An introduction to healthcare sustainability’ is a ready-to-use education resource which equips facilitators with everything needed to deliver an engaging, evidence-based introductory session on the topic, even if they have no prior experience. Developed by the RCP’s sustainability fellow, Dr Bryony Alderman, the content is designed to help clinicians understand the links between climate change and human health, as well as recognising the environmental impact of healthcare.

You can explore how climate change affects patient outcomes, how the NHS contributes to carbon emissions, and practical steps every healthcare professional can take to deliver more sustainable care.

Support your workforce to deliver high quality, greener healthcare - now and for the future.
